Technical information for our conservatory blinds
With our many years of experience and our attention to detail, we always strive to make and perfectly fit the best possible conservatory blinds using the highest quality of components and materials.
Colour co-ordinated blind tension cords
Tension cords are an essential part of any pleated blind, enabling it to remain exactly where you leave it, every time.
We use only the very best quality 0.8mm diameter colour co-ordinated cords to complement the blind fabric colour of your choice. Example images below.
High quality conservatory blind components
Our components are made from high quality UV-resistant materials to avoid discolouration. This also means that they will not become brittle with age.
The springs we use for tensioning the blinds (and which are hidden from view behind the blind rails) are rust resistant.
We also use universal installation clips, which can't be seen from the inside of the conservatory, to bring the blind's rails in to much closer contact with the window frame - for a really elegant finish.
Our guide wires for roof blinds are made of UV resistant Teflon-coated stainless steel for strength, durability and smooth operation.
Blind rails - White, Magnolia & Brown
Our conservatory blind rails (available in white, magnolia or brown) are made from extruded aluminium, making them very strong and rust resistant.
I am writing to say just how impressed we were with the courtesy and speed of service received. In particular, we would like to pass on our thanks to Elizabeth, who took my calls and dealt with the matter for us. She was always unfailingly polite and extremely helpful and certainly gives the general public the peace of mind that you are a well run and professional company, with very good customer service. We would also like to thank Alan for dropping off the replacement pole. We will continue to recommend Austin Marr blinds to our friends and family and thank you once again.
